Highly Recommended Reading: Be Here Now-Ram Dass
Evolutions @ Yoga is a little different than most yoga studios around. You’ll notice that the first time you walk in the door as you are greeted by “The Wall.” You’ll step into a “little oasis”, as Arjun Baba (International Kirtan Leader) called it. It’s rare to feel like you stepped into another world, but it happens HERE.
We strongly believe in meeting you right where you are and helping you achieve your goals for practice. Some people step into the studio looking to lose weight, some looking for stress relief, while others are on a deeper path into the mysteries of the universe… whatever your goals are, we’ve got a class that can help you meet your needs. Our teachers are highly trained and have studied with top teachers from around the world, and each of our classes represents the best of years of study and dedication to the practice.
At our studio you will find a laid back atmosphere, friendly help with any questions you may have about beginning a practice or how to improve, and dedicated teachers who are curious to find out about you and helping you achieve your goals. We are always available to chat with you about your progress as well as offering suggestions tailored to your individual needs. We understand that stepping through the doors on your first day for practice is tough, so we provide the friendly support to help you figure out where to go and what to do so you feel good about your practice. You won’t be shuffled around, and treated like a burden because your new… rather, you’ll be treated like a new friend and shown what we have to offer and the tools to help you. Experience the Evolutions Difference. ~Namaste.

Bhakta Ross
Ross Corson, Bhakta Ross is the co-owner of Evolutions. Yoga, specifically yogasana or the physical postures, “found” him when Evolutions @ Yoga was born. He has dedicated his entire life to learning and pursuing Truth wherever it takes him. Turns out, as always, he’s exactly where he’s supposed to be! Over the past couple of years Ross has completed several hundred hours of study in-studio and on his own of the Yogic/Vedic Sciences. Prior to the founding of Evolutions @ Yoga, Ross was a student of Religious Studies and Philosophy at IUPUI, where he received several honors. Ross studies ancient wisdom passed down through the ages in order to gain a better understanding of his own place in this world, Universe, and plane of Existence. He plans on traveling to study with Yogic masters across the globe. In the meantime, Ross will be pursuing his own practice and allowing the light of his heart shine!

Susan Michnay

Susan has her Master’s degree in Social Work and works with children with emotional and behavioral issues as her full time gig. Karyn Krieger
Karyn Krieger “Yoga finds you, you do not find yoga.” Those were the words of one of the many yoga instructors Karyn has met along her journey. Those words were assuring to her as she found that sometimes the path can be obscured by other demands life presents you. The yoga journey for Karyn started in 1994 at a community class in the Silicon Valley of California and continues for her now as a student in the Yoga Teacher Training course at Evolutions@Yoga. Karyn feels blessed to be part of the Evolutions experience and is excited by the opportunity to share the science of yoga with those who feel drawn to the practice.
In addition to her yogic studies Karyn enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and
extended family and friends.

Mandy Martin, Ishwari
Mandy Martin, Ishwari: Thirteen years ago in San Francisco, Mandy took her first yoga class and has not looked back. Initially, inspired by the physical benefits, Mandy found teachers and practiced wherever her job and travels took her. Then in 2006, a teacher in Costa Rica opened new doors into the energy, mind, and spiritual path of yoga. Thirsting for more, two years later she ventured to her first ashram in the Bahamas. In another two years, Mandy, fulfilling a dream of 10 years, took the trip of a lifetime to India to study the Vedanta philosophy, yoga, Ayurveda, and experience the beautiful Indian culture.
Mandy completed her Teacher Training 200-hour certification in Kerala, India at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Dhanwantari Ashram and then went on staff and taught 3 months. She is now settling back into her Indiana roots–excited to share her passion, knowledge, and little bit of wisdom of yoga here at home.
Mandy wants to help people feel and look great both inside and out and live life to the fullest through physical asanas, pranayama breath work, and meditation. She lives by the tenant, “Love All, Serve All Always”. Stretch, Breathe, Relax. Om Tat Sat.

Morgan
Morgan Sanders-Jackson has taken a journey through many disciplines to arrive at Evolutions @ Yoga. She has been interested in yoga, meditation, fitness and movement from an early age, pursuing everything from musical theater and hiking to mindfulness meditation and kundalini yoga. Her teaching career began after graduation from Indiana University in Bloomington, when she returned to Indianapolis and began taking Les Mills BodyPump. On a whim, she decided to try certification training with a friend. Through teaching fitness classes, Morgan discovered that she could help others to become empowered and healthy; she felt strongly called to continue to serve others in that way and so continued to develop her skill set. Now certified in Les Mills BodyPump, Basic MBSR training, NETA Group Fitness Instruction, Peak Pilates Basic Mat, and Peak Pilates PPS-1 Reformer, Mat and Cadillac, Morgan has been teaching for several years across the Indianapolis and Greenwood area, currently teaching group classes and private reformer sessions.
Morgan is thrilled to share pilates with the Evolutions @ Yoga community. Pilates is a great compliment to any yoga practice, and is a useful tool for developing stability and strength. It is also a low impact and safe component to any physical rehabilitation program, and is accessible for everyone.
In addition to teaching, Morgan continues to grow her yoga practice at Evolutions @ Yoga. She also enjoys exploring the out of doors, spending time with family and friends, and laughing as often as possible.
